Art Pens
All the pens!!! I have a lot of Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens. And just recently bought a set of Micron pens. Both of these brands are waterproof, so I like using them to do lettering or illustrations when I’m going to do watercolors on top. That way I don’t have to worry about it bleeding or getting smeared.

The deer photo was drawn using the Faber Castell pens, but I have no doubt that the Micron pens would perform just as beautifully. These 2 are equal in my book – literally and figuratively.
For the more modern-calligraphy type lettering, two of my favorites are the Kuretake Sumi Brush Pen and Pentel Fude Touch Sign Pen.
Neither of these are waterproof, so you won’t be able to paint over your lettering. But they’re so fun to write with. I’ve had such beautiful results with both of them.
I also have a few Pentel Aquash pens that are amazing for brush letters or even just for painting, blending watercolor pencils, etc. Love!
These are the ones I reach for the most. Am I missing anything amazing? Let me know if there are any that I *need* in my life!
